Countable Question

How many bowls of sugar are there? How many pieces of jewellery are there? How many rounds of cheese are there? How many bottles of wine are there? How many pieces of furniture are there? How many bags of money are there?

Answer

There's one bowl of sugar. There are two pieces of jewellery. There are three rounds of cheese. There's one bottle of wine. There are two pieces of furniture. There are four bags of money.

Other words you can add to make uncountable nouns countable:-

You can put uncountable nouns into a container to count them:- For example  
bag A bag of money.
barrel A barrel of beer.
bottle A bottle of wine.
bowl A bowl of sugar.
box A box of cereal.
bucket A bucket of water.
can A can of Coke.
carton A carton of milk.
cup A cup of coffee. cup
glass A glass of water.
jar A jar of honey.
packet A packet of butter.
a saucepan A saucepan of rice.
spoon A spoonful of sugar.
tank A tank of petrol.
tin A tin of custard.
tub A tub of margarine.
tube A tube of toothpaste.

 

You can measure uncountable nouns to make them countable:-  
litre
pint
pound / ounce / kilo etc...

 

You can also measure uncountable nouns in different ways:-    
ball A ball of wool.
bar A bar of soap.
blade A blade of grass.
flake A flake of snow.
handful A handful of sand.  
piece A piece of cake.
pinch A pinch of salt.
